Hardev Singh Nehra : ウィキペディア英語版 | Hardev Singh Nehra Hardev Singh Nehra (1925–1998) was a freedom fighter and social worker who played a leading role in Shekhawati farmers’ movement for abolition of Jagirdari system. He was born in 1925 at village Harsawa of Sikar district in Rajasthan. == Freedom movement == He was involved in the freedom movement from childhood when he was studying in school in village Narsara. The senior leaders of ‘Jaipur Praja-Mandal’ in Skekhawati, Ladu Ram Joshi, Kishan Singh Batar, Bhinw Raj Dugar had once organized a meeting in village Harsawa for the awakening of the villagers. The villagers insulted these leaders which hurt Hardev Singh and from that time he joined the leaders of ‘Jaipur Praja-Mandal’ and motivated the villagers and got their meeting held.〔Rajasthan men rachanatmak karya, p. 114〕
